}Shakespeare Intro: The info from this, as well as the reading from earlier, can be used for the quiz. Make sure each question has lots of details underneath.  You don’t want one answer, you want lots of ideas from different videos/article. The videos can answer multiple questions and you will want to use info from multiple videos for each question
Extra Credit: Post a blog post on your blog with a link to a video, set of pictures, or article you think helps give a better understanding of Shakespeare or his influence or any of the other questions.  Along with the link, post what you think can be learned from what you found. 
When you have finished the note taking, work on one of these things: your first draft of the Perspective Story, your AoW close read/blog post, read your own book

Once you posted the first post, work on your first draft.  Remember to think of Universal Theme!!
Make sure you are basing what is happening off your research (do more if needed)
Narrative Leads: Post the beginning of your story on your blog.  Your Commenting Collaborator will read what you have so far and give suggestions: what narrative leads technique is being used, what can be done to keep reader’s interest, what questions do you have, etc.
Once you’ve posted, check your collaborator’s blog, then comment, then go back to your post, read their comments, and get back to work on writing your story
First draft (Craft Draft) can be done at the end of workshop time (shared with me on Google Docs and uploaded to Turnitin) but is due by Monday evening (and there will be a bit of class time for it on that day)

Work on your first draft over the next few days, when it is done, write “Name Completed Craft Draft” as the document title on Google Drive and Turnitin: I will only read through drafts that are titled this way

By Monday you need to have 1/2 of your first draft done (or more)!!

Story Map or Plot Chart: you need a plan for your story that covers the main points of a short story (like we made for our last story) (Due end of class today at latest): digital or paper
Your story must have exposition (setting, characters, internal and external conflict), rising actions, climax, falling actions, resolution, universal theme
Get story map checked (if it is complete, bring it up to me); if it’s not done, complete the story map

Begin writing your rough draft; consult your notes for details and remember the requirements we talked about yesterday!!
By the beginning of class tomorrow you should have at least two or three paragraphs of your draft done

Anything that helps answer “What is it like to be    in    dealing with   ?” –what aspect of the life of that person/group do you not know yet? Find answers!
You need to have at least one video that you are using as a resource.  Look through the videos on BBC and Reuters before going to YouTube or just searching the web
Remember, you are going to become a person with this perspective, so get as much information as you can to help you write AS a/the person in the situation/event/issue
}In order to start writing your story tomorrow (which is where you need to be), you need to have notes on at least (minimum) 9 sources (Aim for 12 or even more with images and such)!!

While reading, take notes in reader’s notebook of details that identify and describe setting and mood (sensory details, repetition, descriptions)
**Question based on active reading: “What is the mood and what 2-3 details of setting most help establish that mood?”
**Question 8: Consider whether Montresor is a reliable or unreliable narrator. Is the reader to believe, as Montresor does, that his revenge is justified? Is Montresor more sane or crazy? Give details from the story to support your opinion.
If you don't get to these during class, that's ok, we'll start tomorrow with 15 minutes to finish.
Read “Behind the Cask” pg 352

Question 10: Poe often drew inspiration for his tales of horror from the real world.  Compare the details of “The Story Behind ‘The Cask of Amontillado’” with the story of Montresor and Fortunato. How similar are these accounts? Be specific and detailed in your explanation.
